Africa Heartwood Project: Drum Circle & Workshop

African Drumming Workshop and Fundraiser

Saturday February 9, 2013

2-6 PM

Raising Awareness… One Beat at a time!

Andy Jones

Andy Jones of the Africa Heartwood Project will be conducting a workshop/drum circle.  100% of the proceeds of this event will be dedicated to drilling for fresh water in the village of Kukwaado in Ghana Africa.

Bring your drums, rattles and other instruments and learn the techniques and style of the Djembe and raise the beat for Kukwaado!

 Whats that?

You don’t have a drum?

Andy will be bringing drums and instruments for us to borrow (but do let us know
you are coming and need a drum, he will share his supply).  For interested folks, there will be drums for sale at the event.

Feel called to bring your own?  BRING IT!

Suggested donation is $50, however, no one turned away for lack of funds, or donate what you can.
